History

Formed in 2004, Maidenhead Town reached the Premier Division in 2008 with four consecutive promotions. After a successful debut season in the top flight, finishing 7th from 12, the club dropped to Division Two due to the loss of several key, long-standing players. The club reached the Slough Town Cup final in 2007 and the Semi-Finals of the Presidents Cup twice.

The all-time 'most capped' player is Phil Lowe with 206 and current player John McKrell is the all-time leading goalscorer with 60 goals. This season, the club have decided on having a joint club-captain with McKrell and Matt Croxford sharing the role.

This season we mark our 10-year anniversary and the club will be celebrating at the end of the season with an MTFC Legends match on behalf of our nominated charity, Dunne Challenge 60 (dunnechallenge60.com).

The game will take place at Braywick on Saturday 13th September. All are welcome.

We have two kind sponsors for this season. J&K Autos and John Hewitt Catering, who betweem them have offered a new kit and tracksuit tops for the club.
